About Me

Hi! My name is Rana, and I create unique artworks out of old postage stamps. I live in Wanaka with my husband and two cats, and have been creating my postage stamp artworks since 2015. I create my artworks on a full time basis, and enjoy entering special pieces into regional Art Exhibitions, and selling smaller pieces at local markets. I also love to work on commissions, so if there is something you would like that you can't find here, then please get in touch!  I am happy to create pieces from my own stamps, or if you have your own stamp collection, I may be able to incorporate those stamps into a special piece.

About My Artworks

All of my original artworks are handmade from real, unaltered postage stamps. The stamps lay underneath a top 'stencil' which creates the shape.  I cut each stencil by hand from conservation grade card.  To the extent possible the stamps are not cut, and remain whole underneath the stencil.

As with all artworks, it is recommended to hang away from direct sunlight, and away from direct heat sources.  I would also recommend framing with ultra violet glass, particularly for pieces using very old stamps.

To keep up to date with my latest creations please follow my Facebook/Instagram page 'Rana Odell Art' - links available at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for taking a look at my website and I hope you enjoy my artworks!
